Our Story

Founded in early 2024, Orbit Track was conceptualized by a group of former collegiate track athletes and professional cyclists who were frustrated by the lack of premium indoor training facilities in the Pacific Northwest.

Portland has a rich culture of running and cycling, yet the long, wet winters often forced athletes to compromise their training routines. Orbit Track was built to solve that problem entirely.

We transformed a massive 60,000 square foot warehouse on NW Naito Parkway into a state-of-the-art training campus. By importing specialized Siberian pine for the velodrome and utilizing Mondo Super X performance surfacing for our running track, we created an environment where performance isn't hindered by the elements.
