Facility & Track Rules
For the safety and flow of all athletes, please strictly observe the following protocols.
Velodrome Etiquette
- Track Bikes Only: Only fixed-gear bicycles without brakes are permitted on the velodrome surface. Free-wheels and road bikes are strictly prohibited.
- Helmets Mandatory: A certified cycling helmet must be worn and fastened securely at all times while on the track.
- Entering the Track: Always look back over your right shoulder before moving up the track. Enter smoothly and never cut off a rider coming from behind.
- Holding Your Line: Be predictable. Do not swerve unpredictably. Faster riders must overtake on the outside (right).
- Blue Band: The blue band at the bottom is for transition only. Do not ride continuously on the blue band.
Running Track Protocols
- Direction: Running direction alternates daily. Please check the digital boards before stepping onto the track.
- Lane Usage: Lanes 1 and 2 are strictly for fast pacing and sprints. Lanes 3 and 4 are for moderate pacing. Lanes 5 and 6 are for warm-ups, cool-downs, and walking.
- Footwear: Only clean, indoor-specific running shoes or track spikes (max length 1/4 inch or 6mm, pyramid spikes only) are permitted on the Mondo surface.
- Clearing the Track: When finishing a sprint, look over your shoulder before crossing lanes to exit to the infield.
General Facility Guidelines
- Check-in: All athletes must check in at the front desk or via the mobile app before proceeding to the locker rooms or track areas.
- Equipment: Please wipe down all strength and conditioning equipment after use. Disinfectant wipes are provided throughout the facility.
- Recovery Lab: Reservations are required for the cold plunges and infrared saunas. Please shower before entering the recovery pools.
